But - pigs have a negative association in Judaism/Islam because they are "unclean" animals. What's more unclean than spreading disease? Hilarious! (in a most offensive way of course) So on the news this morning I heard that the Mexican ambassador to Israel has already complained that they are very offended that Israel thought it fit to exchange "Swine" for "Mexican." Why does this make me laugh so much? It is bloody awful but sort of reminds me of something I'd see in a Monty Python sketch.
