I've recently received quite a few requests to join EH. Since a pattern is emerging I figured I'd give you all a heads up.

EH is a moderated tribe because there has been a lot of history with nasty fights breaking out, abusive trolls coming in and a lot of harsh and mean words exchanged.

Because of this I have basically instituted a policy about letting people join. If I get a request to join the tribe from someone who is obviously active on tribe, has friends listed on their profile, has photos of themselves in their profiles and is not obviously disruptive in other tribes I will let them in immediately.

Profiles with no photos, no friends, no other tribe affiliations or ones that show a history of fighting with other tribe members are generally held a few days. If its a new person and the profile gets added to then I'll let you in. If its a new person and the profile seems already dead then I likely will not let them in. I tend to shy away from profiles that seem to contain no personal photos or writings. If you have a friend in EH and they drop me a note about how wonderful you are, I will let you in.
