Looks tasteless but harmless... I doubt the act will harm the child... That being said I think the parents are likely not the best possible in the world because they would allow their child to be used as a prop in said set of circumstances.

Wonder if they are planning to show the pic to the perspective boyfriend in the future?

Ick! Definitely in bad taste. I don't feel comfortable about it but I can't decide if it is harmful or not. I would for sure never make a choice like that.

Cute in a sorry way, and pretty harmless.

People have always done silly crap like this with their kids. Years later, they get shown to the now teenager's boy/girl friend with great amusement of parent and embarrassment to teenager.

Have seen the same with pets; the sleeping cat with it's paw hugging a beer can, etc.

I think it's the condom that takes it way past cute little pictures.

        agreed.

that and people thinking it's funny to use the kid as some kind of sick prop.

        it's disturbing.

i agree with above posts... i don't think the kid will be harmed
in any way by *this* particular act, save for the fact that they have
parents that would not only take them to Burning Man, but think
it funny to put them in this position.

          i think it's disgusting, personally.

deeply tacky - somebody's parents don't have maturity or sense - that's the problem I think we can definitely anticipate for the kid
